Artist Statement

I am a multidisciplinary artist who works in a variety of mediums, including but not limited to paint, charcoal, pastel and clay. My work is a broad understanding of lots of different styles and mediums of art. I am drawn to the unique challenges and possibilities of each medium, especially mixed medium, and I use them to create works that are both visually stunning and thought-provoking. My process as an artist is to just go for it and hope for the best especially when experimenting with the layering of different mediums.

Through my art, I hope to inspire and bring joy to those who see my art. I believe that art holds a place in all of our lives, therapeutic, occupational and joyful ways of creating are just a few ways that art is intertwined with peoples lives.
